FearRP Exceptions

May be stale

This page was last updated ago, on 2 October 2026. Check what it says against the code before relying on it.

CityRP's rules do not carve out situations where FearRP lapses, such as when a player draws a weapon or when the Secret Service is guarding the President.

Why

Obay declined the first request in 2015: the rule is tight and staff had no problems with it. Daley declined a job-specific exception in 2017 because the rule already covers the case people worry about. Once someone fires at you with intent to down or kill you, FearRP no longer applies.

"Generally if shots are fired near you, with intend to down or kill you, fearrp is off anyways."

Prior requests

• Allow for FearRP to be violated under certain circumstances (2015)
• FearRP do not apply on certain job in certain situation (2016)
