CityRP does not let players arrest the President or Vice President, and does not give government members a vote to demote the President. This one decision covers both requests.

Why

Arresting and demoting the President stay out of scope: as the maintainer put it in 2026, "it has a lot of bad issues around it."

The archived decisions point the same way. In 2017 Jono declined a demotion vote because a President who oversteps should be dealt with through in-character actions, not a mechanical vote. Later that year a request to make the President arrestable failed a staff vote: staff thought it would cause more problems than it solved, and that the real gap was a proper election system rather than a way to remove an officeholder. No election or impeachment system exists today.
