Wiremod

CityRP does not run Wiremod, even with its dangerous parts restricted.

Why

Approved in 2018, then reversed by Doctor Internet in 2024 because the servers were already under strain. In 2018 staff had leaned towards it: some tools are abusable but can be restricted, and Wiremod could add depth to building, which A City You Can Build values. The decision rests on server load, not on whether Wiremod belongs in the game.

"We're already having issues with server strain at the moment."

Revisit when

Server strain allows it, as staff said in 2024.
