CityRP's permanent laws do not make all weapons illegal by default.
Why
The setting is American, and civilian firearms are legal by default; see the setting. Gun dealers, the weapons market and gun-store roleplay all rest on that. The President can still restrict weapons through the laws system during play.
The request was declined in 2016 on community opposition, for the same reasons: the city is in America, where weapons are legal, and a blanket ban would hurt gun dealer roleplay.
