Loading Screen Music

CityRP's loading screen does not play music.

Why

This stays firmly blocked: loading-screen music has caused audio bugs.

The dev team turned it down twice in 2018 because loading screen audio crashed the Windows audio system and client volume mixers, and caused problems on mobile devices. In 2025 Bambo added that browsers no longer allow audio to autoplay without an interaction, which a GMod loading screen cannot provide, and that earlier loading music had been removed for being loud and buggy.
