Dupe Constraint Rule

May be stale

This page was last updated ago, on 2 October 2026. Check what it says against the code before relying on it.

CityRP does not have a rule requiring dupes to be pasted without constraints.

Why

Rejected by staff vote in 2018. Advanced Duplicator's default was changed to paste without constraints, which handles the common case without a rule, and staff can already deal with a build that carries excessive constraints. A blanket rule would restrict building to fix a problem that tooling and moderation already cover, which runs against A City You Can Build.
